KL Car-Free Morning Programme, held recently at Dataran DBKL, witnessed a remarkable turnout of 2,000 participants engaging in a 7km stretch of closed-road morning run, coinciding with World Earth Day. Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of community engagement, smart proudly stood as a key supporter of this initiative, showcasing the smart #1 and #3, styled by Mercedes-Benz and built on Geely’s Sustainable Electric Architecture (SEA). This demonstration underscored its commitment to promoting sustainable urban living.
The collaboration between smart Malaysia and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) through the KL Car-Free Morning Programme represents our ongoing efforts to enhance urban mobility. Present during the flag-off ceremony were distinguished guests including Mohamed Fauzi bin Ahmad, Officer, Izwan Razif bin Salehaped, Deputy Director, En.Naquib bin Hamdan, Director of Culture, all from the Department of Culture, Arts, Tourism, and Sports, Yusri Bin Yusuf, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy for PROTON, Salawati Binti Yusoff, Chief Branding Officer, and Sua Chek Hoong, Chief Information Officer, both representing smart Malaysia.
